The Kimet'iana specie are one of the many humanoid species out there. They are indigenous to the planet Kimana'kase. The species and things relating to it are refered to in full as Kimet'iana, but more informally are refered to as Kimana. The name Kimet'iana comes from the two major cultural groups prior to first contact with Galactic civilization, the Kimet and the Iana.
The Kimet'iana skin colors range from pink/red, to purple, to blue, and color saturation ranges from very pale pastel to navy dark, and the color saturation can change due to sun exposure or other factors. Kimana hair colors are in the same color range, and are mostly pastel, but there are some groups with more color saturation. Kimana eyes can be any color.
There are four biological sex categories, with four corresponding social genders, generally translated as recieving, giving, carrying, and inducing. Recievers have eggs, and they are were sperm meets with an egg, but they are unable to carry a pregnancy to term. Givers have sperm, and can control whether or not their ejaculation actually contains sperm. When their ejaculation contains sperm it is white, when it does not contain sperm it is blue. Carriers are the ones who actually carry the embryo/fetus to term and give birth. Inducers are necesary to provide or indice many of the necesary hormones over the course of the pregnancy.
