Prior to the Empire taking over, Savit was a member of the Jedi ExploriCorps. He fell through the cracks after graduating from the training course, when his cohort's mentor died, and got stuck on a hyperspace-beacon maintainence round for his entire career, continuing the same round voluntarily even after the mistake was noticed. He made friends at various stations along his route, and at some point one gifted him a sex-bot, Zoon, as a joke.
After the Empire took over, Savit did guerilla maintenance of the hyperspace beacons that were formerly the Jedi Order's to look after.
Savit is the co-pilot of the Hokkaitam, and also serves as the engineer and data security specialist due to his knowledge from his time in the ExploriCorps.
Savit doesn't do well in in person fights, though he has been taught how to use a blaster. However, he can man the ship's blaster cannons quite well when the occasion calls for it.
Savit can speak Basic, Ryl, Kimana, and Dai Bendu.
Savit is too Ace for attraction (despite being the only one of the trio currently with functioning sexual organs, as Arkaitsz has consciously been careful to keep themself in the neuter in between state and Nila’s sex doesn’t have sex), in addition to being very very socially oblivious. So, his reactions to Miron before the reveal were mostly of the person Arkaitsz takes care of, that Arkaitsz likes and feels guilty for liking. After the reveal and the difference settled (and Arkaitsz no longer felt as guilty because it wasn’t Miron they like), Savit got a little closer, but they just don’t really have the same interests. Miron doesn’t really interact much with Savit as Savit because both before and after Moros wants to front to talk about tech stuff.
Savit only grew to like Moros after learning about Moros as a distinct person and growing to like that one. The two of them started out talking tech, but ended up getting off topic as they talked longer, jumping from news and advancements to other news, etc. Moros has also seen more of Savit’s fade-outs than the others on the ship because that one’s not there to touch him, but also tends to be the best at getting him through and out the fade outs, again probably because that one’s not there and doesn’t have the option of physically disturbing him, which sends him deeper. Is to the point where if Savit is faded out, and they can call Moros, the others do.
Savit is Atorm’s co-pilot and the crew’s main ship shooter, so they run flight sims together, both piloting and paired pilot-shooter runs, switching off pilot and guns in part because Atorm is actually fairly likely to be fighting on the ground. Additionally, Atorm’s not an engineer, but he can provide feedback on Hokkaitam’s systems based on the various reactions the ship has while flying. Savit works to make sure the ship is calibrated to suit Atorm as well as possible. On Atorm’s dreams, Savit’s a little curious, but he’s also mostly accepted it as is as another of the mythical seeming Jedi abilities he doesn’t really understand.
Not very close, Savit tends to forget to go to him for small things, forgetting that he’s around other people who can help him with injuries.
Savit is the “innocent” of the trio/potential quad, despite his own lack of sexual and nudity taboos. While Arkaitsz teases him with Nila when she’s around, without her, their dynamic is fairly calm and quiet. Savit’s went through, essentially, semi-voluntary long term solitary confinement, and that had . . . effects. He is intensely touch starved for one. If no one is touching him, and he’s not doing something active, then sometimes he’ll just . . . fade out. And it’s impossible to get him to wake up, and if you do manage, then he’s not really there for a good three or four hours. On their own, the fade outs can last anywhere from 30 seconds to half a day. Woken up, the consequences can last a day or two. So Arkaitsz is pretty much always touching him if they’re in the room. Arkaitsz doesn’t have anything for the group they can do as a time filler, so when together alone they tend to 1) consume/discuss some form media, sometimes Kimana stuff Nila recommended as a prelude to discussion with her, 2) Arkaitsz does research/analysis on plant stuff while Savit does his group computer time filler, 3) they dance together. They’ve found that besides the obvious benefits of sexy dancing (even for an Ace and purposefully neutral biology), the dancing has made things easier for Savit to read Arkaitsz in combat situations while escaping or hiding, and when to switch between the two.
Savit’s outside trio contact. Treis is where Savit learns about role playing games, and they pretty much always have some campaign going. Mostly two person campaigns because this is their thing, but they’ve got a couple long runners that the others join in. Treis likes the control of being the GM, likes being able to fudge the numbers to make sure things come out right in the end in a way he can’t in real life. Savit likes the interactive nature. Nila tends to want all the control over the story she’s writing, and Arkaitsz likes more the telling and retelling on the same tales with slight variations (myth/fanfic style). Savit likes sharing in the media the consume together, but more he likes the interactiveness of rap games because they remind him that he’s there and not alone. Watching/reading/listening to stuff without constantly interrupting it to discuss can set off his episodes, even if he’s touching someone.
Isha kind of sees anything to do with Savit as Arkaitsz’s business because of their relationships to them. She did assess him, and found she liked the emotions Savit brought out in Arkaitsz, who tended to get distracted by their research and distance themself from others while lightly dissociating from emotions. Savit on the other hand, very much views Isha as the parent in law. Like most of them, since he only truly met Isha after she changed, he initially saw she and Arkaitsz as siblings of some sort before he learned the truth. Savit comes from within that system and thus subconsciously superimposes that over it, and knowing they maintained a relationship even after Isha graduates leaned his view more towards his ideal of Jedi knights rather than his own experience with a mentor who died, thus his placing Isha as a parent in law. However, because they’re all adults well past learner stages, he can accept them as equals, and it mostly results in him turning to Isha when in need of relationship advice.
Nila and Savit are quieter when it’s just the two of them without Arkaitsz, but they’re still louder than Savit and Arkaitsz tend to be. Unlike Arkaitsz, Nila does have silent work things to do with Savit, both fake IDs and personal writing, but usually Nila will put on music while they do so. When not working on their silent things, they’ll sometimes watch non-Kimana movies, usually aiming for ones in Nila’s field of expertise that Nila can explain as they go. They’ll also get into arguments about frivolous things as a part of Nila teasing Savit, but Nila tends to tease Savit far less when Arkaitsz isn’t there to be their straight man. The pair of them also tend to be the ones playing board games and dragging everyone else into playing them too. There was one year where they insisted on playing a new one every week, using the holo table setup.
Not very close, Terys thinks of Savit mostly in relation to Arkaitsz and thus regards him as some level of terrifying
Not very close, Savit finds Torkal interesting because while Savit can have trouble feeling things through the Force, the twist of Torkal’s self perception against perception is noticeable to Savit.
