Kidnapped by Darth Sidious when young, Miron was one of many young Force users Sidious trained to do as he wished. Miron specifically was a bit of a failed experiment, as Sidious found that (in addition to his own prejudice against non-humans) training an acolyte such a radically non-human body structure was more effort than it was worth due to the research necesary for physical training. Miron was by and large relegated to be Sidious's research and experimental assistant, though this one was regularly required to join the Inquisitorial teams on searches for Force Sensitive children, especially as this one's reseach began to require Force Sensitive subjects.
Despite being kidnapped, Miron and this one's twin, Moros, were able to keep contact by way of what Miron would call their Force bond. They could and did often share bodies, however both also kept specific experiences to themselves. Miron kept the experiences of this one being punished and the experiences this one considered shameful, usually along the lines of things Miron did to keep this one alive under Sidious.
Miron's job aboard Hokkaitam is to be a source of information on the modern Banite Sith Culture of the Empire, and to act as one of the crew's main fighters.
Miron can speak Basic, Leroti, Kimana, about a hundred Sith dialects, Dathomirian, and the languages of two other Dark side Force sects for the purposes of research.
Savit is too Ace for attraction (despite being the only one of the trio currently with functioning sexual organs, as Arkaitsz has consciously been careful to keep themself in the neuter in between state and Nila’s sex doesn’t have sex), in addition to being very very socially oblivious. So, his reactions to Miron before the reveal were mostly of the person Arkaitsz takes care of, that Arkaitsz likes and feels guilty for liking. After the reveal and the difference settled (and Arkaitsz no longer felt as guilty because it wasn’t Miron they like), Savit got a little closer, but they just don’t really have the same interests. Miron doesn’t really interact much with Savit as Savit because both before and after Moros wants to front to talk about tech stuff.
Twins who both kind of thought the other had nothing to hide even as they both hid secrets from the other while living in each other’s heads, Miron kidnapped and tortured, Moros feeling immense survivor’s guilt that Moros wasn’t in Miron’s place even as Moros felt the torture, both with wildly incompatible views of what the mystical force in the universe is, dealing with being in the same space for an extended period of time and needing to deal with their own individual emotions about other members of the crew rather than some combination (even as the combination lingers) for the first time ever.
He’s kind of scared of Miron because the Sith Inquisitors were basically the worst opponent he could face as a sniper, and Miron’s weird, forced, Leroti style allowed for attacks that most Froce Users would never dream of (like using your lightsaber as a long distance javelin/spear against the sniper). That wariness carried over after, but Miron joined the support group and became another fascinating point of comparison of ancient and modern Sith.
Miron is by far the worst at going to Tinor for treatment as doctors were never a good thing because they meant involuntary body modification, torture, or that you were weak/failed in some way and got closer to the top of the list for next to be eliminated. Tinor has seen some similar attitudes from slaves and isn’t bi-gender, but feels a little heartbroken that the same methods as to reach them also let him reach Miron - dress in his worst (if scrupulously sanitized) clothing, try to meet in a neutral spot, let them seek you out, if not possible try to seek them out in a neutral area.
Arkaitsz thinks of Miron as desired future sibling-in-law, and also kind of apprentice. Terys and Torkal do a lot of the day to day stuff of taking care of Miron, who even after a decade still really isn’t used to choices, and it’s Terys who has the leashed dog spell for the future, but is Arkaitsz who approximates Sith and Master closest in Miron’s mind. Arkaitsz killed Miron. For a second, but it happened. Miron isn’t used to choices, to having choices, to having no structure. Arkaitsz killed Miron, so obviously Miron’s mind put them at the top.
Treis is cautiously accepting but doesn’t seek this one out. They’re not very close.
Miron doesn’t understand Isha. Miron knows Arkaitsz learned all of the Sith stuff from someone, but it’s not anyone on the ship. Initially, Miron thought it was Isha because duh, Mentor-apprentice, but it’s really not. Outside of that, Miron’s kind of wary of Isha because Miron’s last mentor figure was Sidious and his other Sith teachers. But over time, Miron sees that she’s not like that and gradually relaxes. They never really get close, but Isha’s the leader and a parental figure when Miron wants that. Isha’s generally distracted by the people she’s closer to and sees Miron as closer to Arkaitsz, but when Miron needs someone she’s always available. She’s actually communicated with Moros specifically to learn how to make a Leroti soothing drink for their occasional late night talks.
Nila, like Arkaitsz, got to know Miron first. Unlike Arkaitsz however, Nila is safe. She was and continues to be a civilian in a way none of the others really are, and Miron could easily defeat her. However, she does have Arkaitsz’s protection. Her personality doesn’t trigger any of of Miron’s instincts - too vulnerable to be an equal or superior, but none of the fear of an inferior. She’s the one who coaxes Miron into voicing an opinion in the Darkside debates, and she’s the one who notices how Miron’s always got an initial fallback position after the Sith morality, often two, and that Miron’s arguments are much more certain at that one’s final fallback, while also being not in line with, or even contradictory to that one’s early fallbacks, even if the specific point wasn’t refuted, or was praised. She’s also aware of Arkaitsz’s attraction - before Arkaitsz is even, and finds it interesting that it tends to be associated with when Miron has fallen back to that one’s second fallback, and the way that one defends it. Nila was interested in Miron-Moros, and willing to evaluate that one as a potential metamour should Arkaitsz find a way to satisfy their guilt as she had figured out how to satisfy their guilt over herself, and willing to allow that she might feel ready to change such in the future, but unwilling at that point to personally involve herself. The feelings from that lingered past the realization and through Arkaitsz realizing that the person they are attracted to is Moros rather than Miron, and easily settled into Miron as a more literal in law rather than loverly in law. And Miron was really happy for the stability that Nila had as fond of that one but not intimately close, and thus not super betrayed by the revelation, as well as her consistent feelings across the revelation.
Share a room queer platonically, Terys is Miron’s metaphorical rock. The two have also come up with a wildly inadvisable plan/spell to hook into all of Miron’s Sith training and make Terys Miron’s master in case they ever get caught deep cover against another Sith and need to provably bluff their way out. Terys was one of the first to go “live and let live” because of his mercenary background meaning he’d had to work with people he didn’t like in the past, and at least Miron seems willing to work with them.
Not super close, but part of the Dark Side Debate group, Torkal is uncomfortable knowing that if they’d had even a hint that the Sith were around, he’s exactly the kind of person his temple would have sent to be in Miron’s position.
